ICAS partners with a variety of organizations, institutions and individuals to support community-led conservation projects that benefit both wildlife and local communities in Brazil.

We deeply value all our partnerships – past and present – as they fuel our initiatives. This impactful work is only possible with the collaboration of our partners.

Partnerships that strengthen — because conservation is achieved together!

Stand-out Partnerships

Some of our partners stand out, providing either significant ongoing and long-term support or outstanding collaboration; thus, furthering our commitment to protect giant armadillos and giant anteaters, as well as improve the lives of people, animals and the natural world they share.

We extend our deepest thanks to you, our stand-out partners, whose unwavering long- term support and collaboration have been instrumental to our mission and growth. Your commitment, expertise, and shared vision for conservation have helped us drive real, lasting impact. Together, we are protecting nature, empowering communities, and shaping a more sustainable future. Thank you for being an essential part of this journey.

Government and Academic Partnership

ICAS successfully collaborates with government and academic partners for maximum and long-term impact.

ICAS works closely with Brazilian national authorities and has developed strong relationships with regional and local governments to implement scientifically-based solutions benefiting our wildlife and communities living in areas surrounding wildlife habitats.

Academic institutions and universities contribute to scientific expertise and data analysis while fostering a new generation of environmental specialists through our training program, promoting long-term biodiversity protection. Today our scientific outputs depend on our successful collaboration with universities throughout the world.

Conservation Sponsors

ICAS is grateful to our zoo and conservation foundation partners without whom we would not exist. Their support through research, funding, and public education strengthens conservation efforts on the ground, helping us safeguard species and ecosystems in Brazil.

Zoos play a vital role in the conservation of wildlife as they represent the world’s main sponsors for wildlife conservation. Dr. Arnaud Desbiez, ICAS’s founder, first discovered his passion for wildlife as a teenager in zoos and started his career as a zookeeper. ICAS works with Zoos and Foundations from all around the world. By collaborating on research, education, capacity building and field projects, ICAS and its zoo partners work together to protect biodiversity both in the wild and in managed care, creating a stronger, more united conservation network.

Corporate Partnerships, Collaborators & Philanthropic Giving

ICAS values our corporate partners dedicated to making a positive impact while becoming natural allies in protecting ecosystems, species and communities.

Corporate partnerships are playing a key role in supporting our work and expanding our reach through financial contributions, in-kind support, and joint sustainability initiatives. ICAS values businesses that integrate environmental responsibility into their core values.

Institutional Partnerships

We deeply value our institutional partners — organizations, projects, and NGOs that share our commitment to protecting nature. Together, we combine strength, knowledge, and purpose to enhance actions that benefit ecosystems, species, and communities, expanding the reach and impact of conservation.

Partnerships with civil society organizations, NGOs, and projects focused on conservation and environmental education are essential to strengthen our impact and expand the reach of actions in favor of nature. ICAS values these collaborations, built on the exchange of experiences, the joint development of initiatives, and the union of efforts to promote awareness, research, and the protection of biodiversity. Together, we multiply results and inspire lasting transformations for the benefit of people, animals, and ecosystems.

Community Partnerships

ICAS is committed to working with communities to create a balanced, thriving future for all life, supporting sustainable initiatives that enhance the livelihoods of people who share their lands with wildlife.

For us, working with local communities is essential. These communities are often the direct stewards of the land, forests, and wildlife that conservation efforts aim to protect. By involving them in decision-making, education, and sustainable development, we can build trust, ensure long-term success, and create solutions that respect both nature and people. Local knowledge and participation not only enhance the impact of our conservation projects but also empower communities to take ownership of protecting their environment.

Partnerships with Artists

ICAS strongly believes in art as a powerful education tool. We value our partnerships with artists who inspire people to connect with nature and take action to protect it.
